Suspects Arrested In Hotel After Robbery Operation


Three suspected robbers have been arrested in a popular hotel (name withheld) at Alagbado, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, after a successful robbery operation.

The suspects are Omolayo Lawal, Lateef Alade and Monday Onagu.

They sneaked into the hotel at Kollington, Alagbado, Lagos State in  an ash colour Honda Accord car marked Lagos KSF 461 AC.

Findings revealed that the robbers were drinking beer and discussing at the bar, and when they attempted to lodge in one of the rooms, someone who suspected their movement quickly called the police on phone.

The police detectives attached to Alakuko Division immediately swooped on them. When they saw the police team, they attempted to escape but were arrested.

In their confessional statement, the suspects wrote: “We are into full time robbery and we started robbing and stealing from streets. The Honda Accord car with us was snatched from its owner at gun point.”

Items recovered from the robbers include two locally made guns and a Honda car and phones.  The case has since been transferred to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, for further investigation.
