Nigeria Premier League: Kaduna Target Victory Over Heartland

Kaduna United technical adviser, Dahiru Sadi has said his wards will not miss target against Heartland in a rescheduled Matchday 29 game in Kaduna tomorrow.

The Kaduna-based side were edged 0-1 in the first fixture at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

Kaduna United are third from bottom on 40 points from a possible 102.

Sadi told SuperSport.com that his wards will forever blame themselves should they miss the rare chance to move up the ladder.

“We’re ready for Heartland, we’ve played lots of friendly matches the last one being against the nation’s Under20 team, the Flying Eagles preparing for the league game.

“Although we lost the encounter to the Flying Eagles but the game has adequately prepared us for the match against Heartland.

“We’re going for outright victory, not even a draw is being contemplated.

“We need the three points to shore up our precarious position on the log.

“Our early Cup exit has given us time to strategise for the tomorrow’s game.

“We don’t have any injury worries, the players are 100 percent fit, so there won’t be escape for Heartland.

“They’ve taken their share of the points, it’s our time to take ours,” he enthused.

The former Nigerian player remained upbeat that his side will survive relegation.

“Kaduna United won’t go down, we’ve done our homework well and the remaining four games in the league will test our resolve and staying power to keep our position in the elite league,” he boasted.
