The Benue State Head of Service, Mr Michael Iordye and two commissioners saw the other side of Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, northcentral Nigeria, Wednesday as they were locked out for arriving late for the weekly state executive council meeting.

The two Commissioners who were shut out alongside the Head of Service are the Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Benjamin Ashaver and the Commissioner for Youth/ Sports, Mr. Aondowase Chia.

P.M.NEWS gathered that Governor Suswam, who arrived Government House very early for the meeting, ordered that any member of the state executive council who came in late should not be admitted into meeting room.

The cabinet members locked out were
seen making frantic calls and apologising for their lateness and pleaded that they be allowed into the meeting room but all their pleas fell on deaf ears.

P.M.NEWS further gathered that Governor Suswam did not hide his displeasure at the meeting over the nonchalant attitude of some members of the state executive council.

This has elicited several calls from members of the public on the need for a cabinet reshuffle as most of the commissioners have over stayed their welcome and have become dead woods.
