Uquah said Villa Jazzmatazz is purposely set up to give music and dramatic artistes an opportunity to show their creativity which may have been withheld by crippling costs of self-promotion “since the biggest problem of every Nigerian artistes is not piracy but the opportunity to perform.”

He said some activities of the club include live music performances, training workshop and master-classes, audio-visual production and presentation, theatre productions and arts entertainment matter.

Towards achieving this, Villa Jazzmatazz will be formally opened to the public on   Sunday, 29 July, 2012 with a command performance of Sam-Uquah’s A Touch Of Magic, an African pop opera.
