Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, has lauded the brains behind international entertainment company, Malio Entertainments, as the outfit won the Entertainment Company of the Year at the Global Leadership Award for Excellence (GLADE) last week.
The actress, who is also one of the entertainers under the umbrella of Malio, said the company has proved that it has come to stay, adding that, “within a very short period, the company has been able to achieve a lot.”
Malio Entertainmen led by UK-based Ademola Olanibi has been a force to reckon with in Europe, America and other parts of Africa and has been promoting Nigerian and African culture on the global stage.
Also during the award presentation, fast rising Juju musician and the Chairman of Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN), Segun Nabi, said Malio has “contributed immensely to the success of my career and others while many well known entertainment companies have failed to better the lot of artistes.
“For a company that has achieved this kind of feat, it deserves nothing less than being appreciated and honoured.”
Meanwhile, Malio is expected to receive another recognition award in Canada in September this year.
