Rangers International Football Club of Enugu have admitted their defeat against Shooting Stars of Ibadan, 3SC in the Week 35 Nigeria Premier League cracker.
Moses Ogaga’s goal was all that 3SC needed in the first half to send their fans into wild jubilation over the visiting team in an encounter watched by a mammoth crowd at the Adamasingba Sports Complex, Ibadan in Oyo State.
Reacting to the defeat, Rangers captain, Chibuzor Madu expressed disappointment that his Enugu-based side failed to secure the valuable points in Ibadan.
“We came to Ibadan to get a good result but unfortunately we could not achieve our target,” said Madu.
In his own reaction, Ejike Uzoenyi, was more philosophical in his comment, saying that a team cannot win all the time.
“We lost because it is a game of football. You win some and you lose some. A team cannot be winning all the time,” said the Super Eagles player.
