Shooting Deserved Victory, Says Ogaga

Shooting Stars player, Moses Ogaga, has said that his side’s 1-0 home victory over Rangers International Football Club of Enugu was a deserved one.

Ogaga, who scored the only goal of the match, said the victory over the Flying Antelopes was a reward for hard work.

“Winning a match of this magnitude is a result of hard work on the part of the entire team before and during the match.

“We got the maximum pointd in the match because we all worked very hard during training and decided to raise our game in the game,” said Ogaga.

He said: “It is a victory that the entire members of the club will cherish for a long time because we were able to get a reward for hard work. You don’t win a club like Rangers all the time even if they are playing you on your home ground.”

Asked how he felt about the his goal that gave his side the maximum three points, Ogaga said that the spotlight should not be beamed on him but on the entire team for winning a crucial match.

“What is important is the fact that we won the match and I am happy that I contributed to the historic victory. It is not about a player scoring the winning goal but it is about a team winning an important  match,” said Ogaga.
