The officers promoted are Christopher T. Degab, Aliyu Musa, Bala Hassan, Mohammed J. Abubakar, Tambari Y. Mohammed, Ibrahim Abdu, Julius A. Ishola, and Alex Emeka Okeke (AIG Medical Services)
“Furthermore, in its attempt at motivating deserving officers of the Nigeria Police force, the Commission at the 28th Plenary meeting equally considered and approved the promotion of thirty two Deputy Commissioners of Police to Commissioners of Police, while Ninety-one Assistant Commissioners of Police were elevated to the rank of Deputy Commissioners of Police respectively.
“All the above mentioned promotions are with effect from the 1st of August, 2012. Also, the Commission approved the promotion of a Sergeant to Assistant Superintendent of Police II with effect from 7/7/2010”, said Ekpe.

The Commission also sanctioned some senior officers for acts it described as “unbecoming of superior police officers”.
