Eight years after the death of his father, the former Chief Security Officer to the late General Sanni Abacha, Major Al-Mustapha(retd) has lost his mother, Hajiya Fatimah Al-Mustapha.
P.M.NEWS learnt that Hajiya Al-Mustapha died yesterday morning after a protracted illness and was buried in the evening according to Islamic rites. Major Al-Mustapha, who was recently sentenced to death for the murder of Kudirat Abiola, was said to be devastated inside the prison having lost both parents while incarcerated.
A source close to the condemned CSO told P.M.NEWS that when the news of his mother was broken to him, he broke down and wept like a baby. Meanwhile, sympathisers have been trooping to the residence of Hadi, the immediate younger brother of Al-Mustapha, to condole with the family.
