Speaker’s Aide Murdered

Security operatives have an uphill task unravelling killers of one of the aides to the Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Mr. Ben Uwajimogu, Mr. Emmanuel Adoba.

He was murdered by assailants who inflected machete cuts on him and watched him till he bled to death.

P.M.NEWS gathered that Adoba was murdered at his Okuku village residence in Imo state.

The incident has reportedly thrown Imo state into panic as people are afraid the era of political assassination has returned to the south east state.

But the Imo state police command has pleaded with the people not to panic as they have commenced a full scale investigation into the incident. They have promised to unmask the killers soonest.

Meanwhile, Speaker Uwajimogu has expressed shock over the murder of Adoba.

The Speaker has therefore promised a reward of N500,000 to anyone who could offer a useful information that could lead to the arrest of Adoba’s killers.
