Kimono Bags Media Nite Award

The rub a dub master, Ras Kimono and other personalities will on 27 August receive honours as the Music Personality of the Year courtesy, Media Nite Awards.

According to the list of awardees made available to P.M.NEWSEntertainment by the organising committee led by Sola Olugbemiro of Solkem Entertainment, Kimono is being recognised for his contribution to the music industry.

Other awardees are, Speaker, House of Representatives ,Aminu Tambuwal, Gombe state Governor, Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Funmi  Wakama, and aide to the Ogun State governor, Sasaco Nigeria Limited, producers of Jago Milk and Gino Tomatoes and NEM Insurance Plc, etc.

Olugbemiro said that apart from the musician, corporate organisations, government agencies, journalists who have performed creditably in their chosen profession will be recognised “because the event is strictly for the media.”
