Ehiosun Joins Turkish club, Genclerbirligi
Super Eagles striker, Ekhigo Ehiosun has signed a three-year deal with the Turkish Super League club, Genclerbirligi.
Ehiosun, who played for Samsunspor last season completed the deal Friday night, but officials did not disclose the financial details of the contract.
“Ehiosun will be playing for Genclerbirligi this new season as he has signed a three-year deal with Genclerbirligi,” ISB chief scout Ahmet Arslan told the media in Turkey.
“He did well last season with Samsunspor and his capacity is well known in Turkey.”
Ehiosun moved to now relegated Samsunspor on loan from Nigeria Premier League club Warri Wolves, where he netted 9 goals in the Turkish league last season.
The Eagles hit man was linked with Gotzepe, Antalyaspor and several teams in Israel before he settled for Genclerbirligi, who play in the Turkish capital city of Ankara.
His new club have won the Turkish championship twice as well as the Turkish cup and finished 9th on the table last season.
