The Super Eagles will continue their preparations for the 15 August friendly match against Niger Republic with a friendly match against the FCT Federation Cup champions,
Police Machine Football Club on Thursday.
The game, according to officials of the senior national team, will be played at the FIFA Goal Project side, where the team have since relocated to,
following the poor state of the practice pitch of the Abuja National Stadium.
Chief Coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, is expected to fuse the old and the new players, to find a perfect blend ahead of the team’s friendly in Niamey next Wednesday,
and the 8 September African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Lone Star of Liberia.
“The Police Machine, described as very robust and power playing team are expected to stretch the national team to the limit,”
Eagles’ Team Coordinator, Emmanuel Atta said Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, Eagles’ defender, Azubuike Egwueke, who has been improving with every game for the national team,
has said the team will go for nothing less than victory in the game against the Menas of Niger Republic.
“We know they are a very good side but I think we are a better and more experienced side,
and should come home with a victory song”, he declared during the national team’s media parley on Wednesday in Abuja.
