3 Robbery Suspects Caught
The police at Gowon Estate Police Station, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested three robbery suspects and recovered arms and ammunition from them.
According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mrs. Ngozi C. Braide(DSP), there was a call to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Gowon Estate, Mr. Agaba N,(CSP), who immediately dispatched his anti-robbery team to the scene of the robbery at 24, Bosoro Street, Shagari Estate, Ipaja, and the three suspects were arrested.
Items recovered from them, according to the Mrs. Braide, include locally made double barrel gun, two live cartridges and a matchette.
The case has been transferred to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, for investigation.
Mrs. Braide told Crime Watch that the suspects will soon appear in court.
