When Honda Motor Company recently went back to the drawing board to modify the Odyssey for the 2012 model year, it was almost certain that the automaker, more than anything else, would make the minivan a rallying point of sort for families, friends and holidaymakers who wish there is a minivan that could offer unbeatable satisfaction.

And true to this postulation, Honda did come up with a minivan it described as a “greater way to share good times.”

Saying that Odyssey was purposefully crafted to enhance family ties, the automaker added that the vehicle’s spirited performance, luxurious comfort and effortlessly reconfigurable seating for eight makes the van a pleasurable experience for every occupant.”

So, whether enjoying an uptown evening or taking friends to the beach, the new Odyssey makes her occupants feel right at home in a somewhat sleek, smooth and distinctive way. Director, Sales and Marketing, The Honda Place, exclusive distributors of Honda automobiles in Nigeria, Mr. Deepak Daryanani, shared this view during the presentation of the new Odyssey to local automobile media at The Avenues Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.

He said Odyssey was completely redesigned to reassert its status as an exceptional minivan with undoubtedly luxury sensation.  That is the impression the Odyssey conveys. A power tailgate and doors coupled with convenient opening and closing via power or remote key distinguish the Odyssey from competitions.

What’s more, Odyssey’s sporty aluminium wheels with precision detailing radiate Honda’s quality. This is in addition to the multi-information display, fuel economy, outside temperature, control switches on steering wheel, hands free phone as well as audio and cruise controls.

Renowned test drivers say the new Odyssey remains a class-leading minivan for fuel economy and safety ratings, while continuing to offer the refinement, space and engaging driving experience that people have come to expect from this highly acclaimed family vehicle.
