Juju maestro turned gospel singer, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey –Fabiyi will on Sunday, 19 August honour his former recording company boss Chief Jo Afolabi (Ogo Oluwakitan) as he will be the special guest at the formal dedication of a new church building named Christ Gospel Apostolic Church, Shogunle, Lagos. It was built by him.
P.M.NEWSEntertainment learnt that Obey will be joined by Pastor J.A. Adelakun a.k.a. Ayewa and Primate Niran Aluko at the dedication service.
Speaking with P.M.NEWSEntertainment on the idea behind inviting Ebenezer Obey for the special dedication, Afolabi said: “I want the congregation to benefit from Obey’s gospel repertoire and it is also an honour to have him at the Church dedication.”
He said all things being equal, the King of World Beat Otunba Sunday Ishola Adeniyi Adegeye, a.k.a. King Sunny Ade will be attending the dedication.
Evangelist Obey will today join, Prophet Taiwo Idris in all night praise worship. The praise night which comes up at the Auditorium of the Christ Revival Rain Mission, Mowe, Ogun state, according to Idris, is bound to remain the talk of the town event.
The onetime miliki exponent, who has been on the train of the 52-week long praise nights that emanated through the vision of, Prophet Idris, has promised to set aglow the growing town of Mowe this night.
