KIA Opens New Service Outlet In Abuja
A major Korean motor company, Kia Motors, has established a visible presence in the capital of Nigeria, Abuja, with the opening of its largest showroom and service centre in Utako. A statement by the firm said the new structure features a display of the entire model range of Kia automobiles in Nigeria.
“The facility will serve as an after-sale service outlet with full service and maintenance complements for Kia’s valued customers in the capital city,” it said.
Kia’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Sandeep Malhotra, said at the launch of the ultra modern Kia Service outlet that the facility could service as many as 50 cars in a single day, adding that the workshop was fully equipped and could take 20 bays for servicing.
“We were inundated with requests from Abuja residents for more Kia outlets; they have shown deep love and commitment to the Kia idea and drive – the only way to reward this commitment and the growing population of Kia lovers is to open more state-of-the-art, best in class and truly world class service centres in Abuja.”
The centre, he said, would be employing over 45 people as part of the company’s expansion plans and commitment to the Nigerian market. It said: “This further demonstrates Kia’s commitment to excellent after-sales service; the service outlet assures Kia’s customers of quality service; meeting and catering for all their repairs and servicing needs.”
The statement quoted the firm’s chief commercial officer as saying, “Owners of Kia models across Nigeria and especially now in Abuja, can be assured of genuine parts and professional consultation and advice from our experts who have been trained to KIA’s highest standards of providing workmanship of the highest quality.
“We believe every Kia owner should get the very best after-sales service possible, which is why we continue to make efforts to open new service outlets across the country to bring our services as close as possible to their doorsteps.”
It said the firm currently had over 20 service outlets across Nigeria. The firm said its recent price cuts on a number of Kia brands including the Cerato and Sorento would be top on offers that customers should look out for at the new outlet.
