Basketball: Oyedeji Moves Youth Camp To Ibadan, Osogbo

Captain of Nigeria’s national basketball team, D’Tigers, to the London 2012 Olympic Games, Olumide Oyedeji has moved his annual youths training camp, the Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Camp, to Ibadan and Osogbo.

This year’s camp, the 13th edition, will begin at Oshogbo Township Stadium in Osun State, from 27–31 August with young basketball talents under the ages 13 to 18.

Kids in Lagos and its environs will be camped at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos from 3-8 September before the clinic would be rounded up at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan from 10-13, September.

Oyedeji said that his Foundation will continue to contribute to the development of the game in the country. He thanked  Afrab-Chem Ltd for its support towards the clinic.

“I’m grateful to God for helping me to achieve my dream of playing at the Olympics . My way of paying back to the country is through Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Clinic. This year’s clinic will take place in Lagos, Oyo and Osun states,” he said.
