Teenage Chinese sex workers arrested in Lagos

Officials of the Nigerian immigration Service have arrested 13 teenage prostitutes who were brought in from China by a Chinese couple currently on the run.The young girls were among the about 40 teenage girls who were camped by the couple, Mr. and Mrs Sun and Yin Li, in a building on Emina Cresent,  close to Toyin Street in Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, before their  arrest, according to officials of the Immigration Service.

The couple allegedly made them available to politicians and other big society people until the government agency raided the place following a tip-off.

Spokesman of the Immigration Service, Joachim Olumba, who confirmed the arrest to some journalists, said they would keep the girls till investigations into the issue was concluded as the agency was in search of the couple and the other girls who escaped with them.He hinted that they may be deported or handed over to the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria in due course.
