If the numerous goals scored by Super Eagles strikers during their training are anything to go by, then the Lone Star of Liberia are in for real trouble when both teams clash on Saturday in Monrovia.

Goal scoring has been a major problem for the newly assembled Eagles, but strikers Ik Uche, Emmanuel Emenike and Brown Ideye have been consistent with their strikes during the team’s training that would be rounded off this evening in Abuja.

The three players, especially Uche and Emenike were on target several times during an early morning walkout today.

Uche, who is likely to pair with either Emenike or another prolific attacker, Ahmed Musa against Liberia, netted many goals against the team B defence, marshalled by skipper Joseph Yobo today.

The Spain-based forward, known for his dangerous runs, was the cynosure of all eyes, as Coach Stephen Keshi applauded his hot shots during their training in Abuja.

Emenike also scored against a water-tight defence put up to test the Eagles’ firepower during the team’s full training.

Musa, who is another skilful striker was not left out, as he scored some goals against the team’s goalkeeper.

“Hope you guys will play like this in Monrovia on Saturday. You have to score and ensure that we return to Nigeria with the three points at stake, Keshi told Uche and other players after their shape up in Abuja.
