Super Eagles Off To Liberia Tomorrow

Players and officials of Nigeria’s Super Eagles will tomorrow depart the country for Monrovia ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Liberia. The must win tie holds at 7pm on Saturday.

Media Officer of the Eagles, Ben Alaiya disclosed that arrangements are in top gear to ensure that the team leave Abuja for Liberia aboard a chartered flight by 6a.m tomorrow.

According to the General Manager/Editor-in-Chief of SportsDay newspaper, the team will round off their training in Abuja today. He said the Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi would be using today’s training to perfect his strategy for the crucial match before their departure as they will not have much time for any serious training when they land in Liberia tomorrow.

“The team are expected to leave for Liberia tomorrow by 6a.m as arrangements have been concluded to ensure that the travelling plan does not change. They will leave Abuja on a chartered flight to Monrovia,” he said.
