Airtel Commissions Showroom At Ikeja

As part of efforts to step up service delivery and excellence across the country, Airtel Nigeria has commissioned an ultra-modern showroom at the new Ikeja City Mall in Lagos.

The latest addition brings the total number of Airtel direct customer touch points to 38 across the country.

Visiting customers or prospective ones to the new outlet would have access to excellent customer experience and arrays of products and services they need to stay connected including phones, SIM cards, SIM Swap, bill payment, airtime top-up cards, query resolution, other accessories and general enquiries.

Speaking during the commissioning of the showroom, the Director-General, Lagos State Public Private Partnership (PPP), Mr. Ayo Gbeleyi, congratulated the management and staff of Airtel for setting up the facility, saying the showroom will enhance the experience of the company’s customers.

Gbeleyi said: “The Lagos State government is committed to creating an enabling environment for serious investors and corporate organisations to operate. We commend Airtel for this move and we urge them to continue to raise the bar of customer experience.”

He noted that the state government acknowledges Airtel’s unflinching commitment towards CSR initiatives, commending the organisation for partnering with Lagos State in its Adopt-a-School programme. Also speaking at the ceremony, Airtel’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Rajan Swaroop, said the company is taking another right step forward in its commitment to take services to the doorsteps of customers as it walks its talk of becoming the most loved brand in Nigeria.

He said: “We are so pleased with this opportunity to bring closer the Airtel experience and our unique value offerings to the doorsteps of our customers. As we open the doors of this world-class showroom to the public today, customers are guaranteed a carrier-class experience of services that help optimise our rich range of unique offerings and services in data, voice, bill payment, query resolution and general enquiries.
