A 250-year old final year student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (Lautech), Ogbomoso, Miss Taiwo Saidat Amusa, is Nigeria’s representative at the ongoing Miss Motors International currently holding in Italy.
Miss Motors International is a pageant that allows beauty to be used to influence change. Contestants at the annual event will be safe driving ambassadors for their own countries, while the winner becomes a World Ambassador of Road Safety.
Miss Amusa told P.M.NEWSEntertainment that she is confident that after the competition, she will come back home to promote safety on wheels.
The current Miss Motors Nigeria title holder said she is interested in encouraging and further creating awareness on the new traffic laws and signs created by the Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola.
The undergraduate says she has all it takes to win this competition, having garnered experience from previous competitions, including Miss Lautech, Miss University, Miss Glo Rock ‘N’ Rule, Miss Olokun and Miss Sisi Eko among others.
