Kokomaster, D’Banj, joined other international superstars including Akon, Ludacris, Kevin Hart, Pusha T and many others at the seventh Annual Luda Day Weekend held over the weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
The five-day event, organised by the Ludacris Foundation included a celebrity basketball party as well as a ‘Welcome to Atlanta’ Dinner.
D’Banj said at the event that many artistes are now wearing several hats by transforming from being just singers and musicians to social icons, entrepreneurs and role models, as well giving back positively to their communities.
“Music can place millions of individuals on one united platform and serves as the bridge to connect with the people. However, it is high time to act, walk and talk, just like Ludacris and other artistes are doing by giving back to their community,” D’banj added.
D’Banj is currently having a scintillating international career. He only recently opened for British singer and songwriter Rita Ora at a London concert.
