A pro-democracy pressure organisation, Coalition of  Oodua Self Determination Group, COSEG, has urged motorists and cyclists to cooperate with Lagos State government over enforcement of the newly signed Traffic Law.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by Dayo Ogunlana and Razaq Oloko-Oba, Chairman and General Secretary respectively, where it was stated that “there are likely to be some challenges during its enforcement.”

According to the group, the law was neither to make money by the government nor punish or witch-hunt anybody unnecessary but for the safety of lives and to ensure sanity on the highways.

COSEG reminded that no step taken by Governor Babatunde Fashola, has ever been detrimental to the welfare of the people, enthusing that the new Traffic Law cannot be an exemption.
