Tight Security As Jonathan Graces Braithwaite’s Book Launch

A horde of police officers and soldiers as well as State Security Service officials mounted security on  Tuesday around the venue of Dr. Tunji Braithwaite’s book launch in Lagos to be attended by President Goodluck  Jonathan and Governor Babatunde Fashola.

Anti-bomb detector devices were deployed to the venue and guests were frisked before gaining access into Yard  158 Event Centre on Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun Lagos, southwest Nigeria, where the book launch was to take  place.

The presidential protocol team and the security operatives arrived the venue as early as 7 a.m. for an event  that was scheduled for 3.30pm.

The book, “THE JURISPRUDENCE OF THE LIVING ORACLES”, was written by Braithwaite, a lawyer and politician.
