Rain wreaks havoc in Ibadan again

After less than three hours rain, Ibadan, Capital of Oyo State, South west Nigeria suffered yet another flooding with rivers overflowing their banks and the major roads under water. 

Many houses in Ashi, Bashorun-Akobo Axis, Bodija and Iwo road were soaked, with Living Stone College located at Bashorun Estate having to shut down, with its evacuated evacuated to a nearby school, Ronk New Age which was not affected.

Parents of many of these children jammed Ronk to carry them home.

Also, the canal at Alagbayun area which the state government recently dredged over floewd to substantial parts , with Adesina College around the area affected.

At Anifalaje area of Akobo, lots of houses were affected. A newly constructed bridge was washed away.
