Senator floods constituency with boreholes

Senator Bukola Saraki, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Environment and Ecology, has approved the construction of 70 bore holes for communities in his constituency, Kwara Central Senatorial District.

Saraki, former governor of the state, said in a statement by his Press Officer, Mr Akintoba Fatigun, in Ilorin on Wednesday that he was committed to making clean water more available to the people, who gave him the mandate to represent them.

He said he discovered during his consultation with different communities  that the most important  need of the people was potable water. The senator said the list of the areas that benefited would soon be updated.He urged the people to write him if they believed a particular area with an immediate need for water was excluded from the list.
