E-zone Africa Group is set to host Independent Fashion Expo and Award.
The fashion show is a Pan-Africa event billed to parade African top designers including Modela Couture, Steve Ray Couture, Generation Consciente(Rep. Benin) Dinal Fashion(Haiti) and some emerging designers including Sxgab Couture, Fatfate Design, Fountain Stitches on a run-way in Lagos State.
The fashion exhibition, according to the convener, Oredola Adeola and the E-Zone Africa team, is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday, 30 September at Jocason Hotel Event Centre, Amje, Lagos-Abeokuta Express Way, Lagos State.
The show is structured to herald Nigeria’s 52nd Independence anniversary.
It is supported by Z-Mirage Multimedia Ltd, Lorna Nig.Ltd;makers of Amigo/Darling Hair, Veleta Fruit Drink, MIIT Technology Services, with the primary aim of showcasing African beauty and talents in the fashion industry.
According to the organisers, its main objective is to create a platform for budding talents and to project them to the mainstream of global fashion industry.
Guests expected on the red carpet which would be covered by both foreign and national press include Alagba Tunde Kelani, Benjamin Joseph, Yinka Davies, Ayanbirin, Tunde Joseph(host artiste), Sound Sultan and other top music and Nollywood celebrities.
Other dignitaries expected at the occasion include Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Lateef Ibirogba; Interpreter between Nigeria/Rep. Benin, Mr. Bonny Botoku; Chairman, Agbado/Okeodo LCDA, Dr. A. Arogundade; Vice Chairman, Ijaye/Ojokoro LCDA, Mrs Fausat Olajoku; Mrs. A Ajibade and Oba Of Ojokoro, Oba Rilwan Lambe.
