Men of Nigeria Customs Services, NCS, from Federal Operations Unit, FOU, Zone A, Ikeja, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, this morning sealed off a frozen foods company located at 10, Kayode Street, Ogba, Ifako-Iajiye area of Lagos.
The armed customs men numbering over 50 in five Hilux pick-up vehicles and a truck entered forcefully into the fish company, opened the cold room to remove frozen chicken, turkey and groundnut oil.
A source told P.M.NEWS that the customs men first sealed off the company yesterday after they received a tip off that the company was allegedly involved in illegal importation of frozen foods.
They returned to the company’s premises this morning, sent out all its staff, arrested and took away a young man said to be the manager of the outfit.
