Shooting Stars will in the new season stick with the two caretaker coaches from the past campaign, officials said.
MTNFootball.com reliably gathered that the management are satisfied with the work of coaches Tunde Odubola and Hakeem Busari, who took over from Festus Allen mid-season, and will thus allow them to take charge of the team for the new season.
“We are not thinking of changing or appointing any coach ahead of the new season. We are okay with what our coaches led by Tunde Odubola and Hakeem Busari achieved last season, we trust them and see no need to tamper with a winning team,” a top team official disclosed.
“They will remain in charge, the so-called big name coach started somewhere; these two have done well with us last season, so they will remain.”
Odubola and Busari took over from Festus Allen mid-way through the season after a poor run of results by the Ibadan darling team.
Shooting Stars eventually ended last season in 13th position and after a short break have resumed training ahead of the new season.
