Wusu Football Club of Idi Iroko, Ogun State have qualified for the semi finals of the ongoing Chief Lekan Salami Soccer Championship.
The team defeated Joh Kay Anderlecht FC 2-1 in one of the quarter final matches played recently at Loyola College, Ibadan.
Grassroots Soccer Guide gathered that the duo of Dayo Adelaja and Lukmon Abegunrin scored the two goals for Wusu FC.
Team manager of the club, Tunde Oyebande said his target is to win the trophy at stake, adding that he is not afraid of their opponents in the semi final stage.
Meanwhile, in other quarter final fixtures, Shafau Patriots will slug it out with New Starlet on Sunday, 7 October, while Loyola All Stars will trade tackles with Nata FC on Sunday, 14 October.
