May D Moves On
Weeks after the shocking exit from Square Records owned by the Okoye Brothers, (PSquare), things seem to be moving fast for Akinmayokun Awodunmila, popularly known as May D.
The singer who recently launched his own music label, Confam Entertainment, has gotten himself a brand new 2011 Nissan Maxima with personalised number MAY D.
The singer, who was signed by the label early this year and released few hit tracks under the label including Ile Ijo, Soundtrack and the remix of Chop My Money with PSquare and Akon, is trudging on as a talented stand-alone machine.
The trio of Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye, had in an interview told BBC London that May D was not sacked but was simply allowed to go.
Jude, older of the siblings and PSquare manager, said the split between Square Record and May D was due to irreconciliable differences between the two parties.
