Mr. 2Kay Set For First UK Performance

Port Harcourt-based act and Grafton Records signee, Mr 2Kay, is set to make his first ever stage appearance at the Nigerian Carnival UK coming up on 20 October at the Kennington Park, London.

Mr 2Kay will be performing alongside other Nigerian young acts like Rayce, Danny Young at the fourth edition of the annual carnival held to celebrate the cultural heritage of Nigeria by Nigerians in the diaspora.

On his return, the Waterside Boy hit maker will embark on a performance tour of five Nigerian major cities later in the year.

Meanwhile, the rising star who started life on the street hawking to help nurture his music career, will unveil his new band named the ‘Oil City Band’ on 6 October at the Silverbird Lounge in Abonema, Port Harcourt.

The launch will have as guest performers Chidinma Ekile, rapper Illbliss and Ghana’s Becca.
