Another beer joint bombed in Jalingo

Another bomb explosion at a drinking joint in Jalingo, capital of Nigeria’s north eastern state of Taraba, has left eight revelers injured.
The improvised bomb went off at about 7.30 p.m at the joint at Angwuan Mallam Joda area, where locally brewed alcohol was sold.
The police in the state said they have made two arrests.
The injured are receiving treatment at the Federal Medical centre in the town.
Amos Olaleye, the police public relations officer said the command was on ‘top of the matter’.
Yesterday, another drinking joint was bombed, killing one person and injuring 11 others, four of them critically.
