Adejoke Bankole a.k.a. Omoolope put up a spectacular performance at Premier Hotel, Ibadan, southwest Nigeria, on 1 October, 2012 during the first phase of King Sunny Ade’s birthday celebration.

Omoolope, who performed alongside top stars such as Admiral Dele Abiodun, General Kolington Ayinla, Adegbodu Twins, Dele Bravo, Jide Chord, Femi Opalemo and others, raised the tempo of the show when he invited the celebrant to the dance floor to perform with her.

KSA, who had refused to perform because he was the one being celebrated, had no choice but perform.

Omoolope said to KSA: “How old are you? This is my first time of meeting you in person, can you please honour me by just performing on the same stage with me?”

As soon as KSA took the microphone, the entire swimming pool side of the hotel became electrified and those present took to the floor to dance to the music of the juju king.

Also, Admiral Dele Abiodun returned to his music archive dishing out hits upon hits such as Kini mo ko soke yio, among other hits and people kept on requesting for more.

Kolington Ayinla also gave a good account of himself. Jide Chord, Dele Bravo and others had a good show, too.

King of Gospel music, Femi Opalemo rounded off the show with choreographic dance steps and good music.

Anchored by Yomi Mate a.k.a. Ifankaleluya, Seun Awodele and others, the show was attended by friends of King Sunny Ade, radio and television presenters such as Ologbojo, Alhaji Gboyega Lawal, Kola Olotu, Kolade Alabi, Dele Ige, the son of the late Bola Ige and a commissioner in Osun State, chairman of KSA’s birthday and 35 years crowning anniversary, High Chief Lekan Alabi and   Apostle Moses Olaiya a.k.a. Baba Sala.
