President Jonathan addresses Nigerians Tuesday
Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan will give a nationwide simulcast Tuesday morning by 7 a.m, his office announced today.
This will be coming eight days after the broadcast he gave to celebrate Nigeria’s 52nd anniversary of independence.
There are speculations that the president will be addressing the nation on the Bakassi Peninsula, which reverts to Cameroon on Wednesday, in line with the ruling of the International Court of Justice in 2002.
President Jonathan recently set up a committee to review the ruling, which some Nigerian lawyers said was no longer reversible.
