Apapa Golden Stars and Nathaniel Boys were a sight to behold at the ongoing Lagos Junior League, LJL, which enters Week 6.
Both teams thrilled football fans that came to watch their respective games at the Campos Sports Centre, Lagos Island.
The Apapa boys didn’t disappoint their fans as they defeated their opponents Eti-osa 3-2.
Despite being on the losing side, Eti Osa LG gave a good account of themselves as they missed several scoring chances before the final whistle.
In the second match, Nathaniel Boys were on rampage as they defeated YMD Babes of Ojo 3-0 in the encounter watched by a handful of fans.
In another match played at the weekend, Mosan Okunola football team lost 1-2 to Onigbongbo Ultimate Strikers at the Alade Stadium.
However, Ikorodu West narrowly defeated Lagos Island East 3-2, while, Bariga LG and Ikoyi Obalende LG played 1-1 draw.
Lagos Island West did enough to run away with 1-0 win against Oshodi /Isolo LG
Oriade LG football team were awarded the three points as their opponents, Lagos Mainland did not show up, while Mushin Bomber thrashed Amuwo-Odofin 4-1 at LASU Sports Centre.
