Falae’s Verbal Attack On Tinubu Unfortunate —LG Supervisor

The verbal attack on the national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by a former Minister of Finance, Chief Olu Falae, has been described as unfortunate and uncalled for.

In an interactive session with newsmen in Lagos, the supervisor for Chieftaincy and Boundary Matters, CBM, Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, Prince Idris Balogun a.k.a Oluomo Kafta, said the action of the elder statesman would only ‘denigrate his personality’.

Prince Balogun, who is the Oluomo of Isheri-Olofin kingdom, said he least expected the verbal attack on Asiwaju Tinubu from somebody like Falae who confirmed at a campaign rally of the Labour Party, LP, that most of his political associates are in the grave.

“In my candid view, somebody like Chief Olu Falae whose ministerial tenure under General Ibrahim Babangida administration was enmeshed in economic controversies, especially the Structural Adjustment Programme, SAP, and could not win an election, should not descend so low as to attack an accomplished politician,” the CBM supervisor stated.

Prince Oluomo described Asiwaju Tinubu as a great political leader worthy of emulation by other leaders because of his transparency, dexterity and ruggedness among others, recalling how he mobilised everybody to win back the southwest states from the oppression of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

He said that this is the time for a change in Ondo State and therefore urged the people of Ondo to come out en mass on Saturday and vote for the ACN candidate, Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu (Aketi), stressing that their future lies in their hands.

Prince Idris Balogun said that as for Governor Olusegun Mimiko, the Bible and Quran have their judgements for a betrayer or traitor.
