Fans Angry As Obesere Shuns Felabration

Fans of Abass Akande Obesere were disappointed yesterday as the top fuji star  shunned the 2012 edition of Felabration currently going on at the New Africa Shrine, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.

Obesere was billed to perform alongside LKT, BEZ, Flowsick, Oritshefemi, JJC, Sheyman, Femi and the Africana and others. But the fuji singer whose manager and band members were at the venue failed to appear.

Hundreds of his fans who were eager to see him perform went home disappointed, as the duo of Omobaba and Dr. Dotun Ransome-Kuti the comperes for the show held a dancing competition to appease the fans who were miffed at the turn of the event.

Oriola Oris, who manages the fuji act, informed P.M.NEWS that Obesere was on his way from a trip and could not make the show due to traffic gridlock on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Despite the absence of the fuji crooner, BEZ, LKT, JJC, Oritshefemi, Femi and the Africana and Lord of Ajasa lived up to expectation as they thrilled the fans that attended the show.

As the Felabration enters day four today, Omawunmi, Durella, Francis Goldman, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Eldee, Bodun Batik, Rhoda, Lace, Asa, Dr. Fabiz,  Sideone, Samklef, Iceberg Slim and others are expected to perform.
