Yaboskan Thrills At Iyan Day

Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Ikeja will be agog tomorrow, as Queen Iyabode Roseline, an Orlando Owoh sound-alike, will entertain Ekiti State indigenes in Lagos. The occasion is the 6th Iyan Day celebration, organised by Ilawe Ekiti Improvement Union, Lagos branch.
Chairman of the event’s planning committee, Lola Afeniforo, said Yemi Daramola, Professor Akin Ogunlade John- Jegede and Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) will be honoured with special awards for their contributions to the development of the union, Ekiti State and the country in general.
Afeniforo also disclosed that Mrs. Funmi Olayinka, Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, will be the special guest of honour, while Senator Babafemi Ojudu will chair the occasion. The royal father of the day is Oba Ajibade Adebanji Alabi, the Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, while Barrister Olu Daramola is the guest speaker.
