Winners of the inaugural Pastor E. A. Adeboye National U-20 Table Tennis Championship in the male and female categories will go home with the sum of N1.5m.
Chairman of Strategic Media, a firm marketing the tourney, Special Isitua said at a press parley at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere in Lagos, said that the “star prize for the winners in the male and female categories is N1.5m with a trip abroad to gain exposure in the sport.”
Isitua further said that the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG Lagos Province 3 is organising the national table tennis competition as part of its contribution to develop the ping pong game in the country.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, NTTF, Segun Oguntade said the tourney will be a veritable platform to discover talents for the country.
