Mrs. Folake Mudasiru, widow of the late Air Commodore Adio Mudashiru, a former military governor of Lagos State, has petition the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone II Police Command, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, over an attempt by some people to claim shares and dividend accruing to the estate of her late husband.

In a petition written by a Lagos lawyer, Chief Robert Clark, SAN, on behalf of the widow, the petitioner alleged that it has been brought to her notice that a company named Codros Capital is making moves to claim millions of naira in shares and dividends accruing to the estate of the deceased air force officer from KABEL METAL Plc, one of the companies in which her husband had considerable holding.

The petitioner alleged further that the said Codros Capital Company claims that it is acting under the instruction of a group of people who claim that they are the executors and trustees of the late Air force officer. The petitioner alleged that the purported trustees have no power or legal right to act as executors or trustees of the estate.

Mrs. Mudashiru has, therefore, urged the Assistant Inspector General of Police to use his good offices not only to investigate this matter but to also bring to book any person or company found culpable in the matter.
