Adaora Ikokwu Is Face Of Sylvia’s

Ex-Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Sylvia Nduka, was all smiles on 21 October, as the maiden edition of her pageant, Face of Sylvia’s Hair (FOSH), held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. Adaora Ikokwu, holder of a second degree in International Relations, emerged the winner.

When asked how she felt about her victory, Ikokwu said: “I’m excited. To have won against all my fellow contestants, 12 of them, who are all beautiful and intelligent in their own right. I’m grateful to God, to Sylvia Nduka and Sylvia’s Hair.”

While Ikokwu won N1m cash prize, a trip to Dubai and a brand new Kia car, the first runner-up, Chinazom Mbagwu, and the second runner-up, Jessica Henshaw, went home with N500,000 each.

FOSH was hosted by Gulder Ultimate Search 8 winner, Chris Okagbue, and model cum on-air personality, Venita Akpofure. The two gave a good account of themselves directing the event that had in attendance A-list celebrities that included AY, Cecil Hammond and Banky W. Performances were by Chuddy K, and fast-rising singer-dancer, Sexy Gina.
