TITLE CONTROVERSY: K1 Breaks Silence, Pasuma: No Regrets
Following reports of a controversy generated by Pasuma’s decision to dump the title of Arabambi for ‘Oganla of Fuji Music,’ King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal has said he harbours no hard feelings.

KI told Entertainment Cafe in a telephone conversation that there is no rift between him and Pasuma. “Do we have to deny anybody the right to change of name? He has been a wonderful and loyal person to me, so I have no hard feelings over the change in title. At least, it will go down in history that he was once Arabambi 2,” said K1.
He warned people against making an issue of the change in title, as Pasuma is old enough to make decisions. “I wish him the best,” he added.
Pasuma explained that the change of the title is not a product of rift between him and K1. “ I am old enough to decide on my own; I have served K1 and I have to move on with my career.
After all, K1 used to be called Wasiu Ayinde Barrister and when he changed the name, almost everybody hailed him over his decision,” he said.
The Orobokibo creator said he stood by K1 through thick and thin. “I will continue to be loyal to him, but I remain the Oganla Fuji,” he claimed.
Meanwhile, an Ibadan based fuji musician, Taye Adebisi (Taye Currency) is now the Oganla 2, while comedian Taofeek Koyokoyo is also reported to have crowned himself Oganla Comedy.
