Gospel singer, Eric Oluwatoyin Adeogun, popularly known as Rico GQ, has returned to the country from the United Kingdom, where he used to live. Rico GQ, who started music by toying with musical instruments in a church his father headed, was also an active member of the church choir.

His album, Baba O se, a blend of hip-hop and juju, is currently making waves in the UK. Although yet to be released in Nigeria, the song and its video are fixtures on local radio and television stations.

Rico GQ left for the United Kingdom in 1996 after graduating as a Chemical Engineer from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He worked locally with many artistes before leaving.
