Kwara Declares Work-Free Day
The Kwara State government today confirmed the death of Saraki via a statement issued on behalf of Governor Abdufatah Ahmed by his Chief Press Secretary, Wahab Oba.
The governor declared a work-free day to enable civil servants attend the fidau prayers slated for Eid praying ground along Asa Dam Road, Ilorin.
According to the statement, Saraki’s corpse was expected in Ilorin at about 4 p.m. today and he is expected to be buried immediately after the prayer session.
However, P.M.NEWS correspondent in Kwara State reports that Saraki’s GRA, Ilorin residence was bereft of activities at press time because the deceased seldomly stayed in the house.
