Islamic Musicians Association of Nigeria, ISMAN, today celebrated the beginning of the new Islamic year known as Hijrah 1434AH
To mark the new Islamic year, ISMAN, led by its Lagos State chapter governor, Alhaji Abdul Ganiyu Abideen, this morning moved round Lagos State, starting from the premises of Murhi International Television, MITV, to the Governor’s Office, Ikeja and to the Lagos Island, singing and dancing in an open motorcade.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS, Alhaji Abideen said the significance of Hijrah is that it is a turning point in the Islamic history and we are happy to be part of history.”
Hijrah is being celebrated around the world, he added.
