After her hugely successful single, Bottom Belle, fast rising Omawumi will, in the next few days, release a new single, Staying Alive.
The song, which will be released in audio and video format, is another creative piece from the singer off her highly anticipated sophomore album. The song preaches the need to relax and take things easy.
“Every day, you see people trying to acquire wealth or get to a level where they can forget their troubles. But I say to them: slow down a bit. As long as you can get three square meals, then try to stay alive and be concerned about your wellbeing before you concentrate on acquiring wealth,” Omawumi counselled.
The former Idol West Africa star has proved her competence in the music world. She was the only Nigerian artiste that performed at the African Cup of Nations recently held in South Africa.
