As part of activities marking this year’s World Diabetes Day, Tuface Idibia and Faze, both members of disbanded Plantashun Boiz, will join other entertainers at Golden Tulip Hotel, Festac Town, Lagos, for a concert aimed at raising awareness about diabetes. The concert, organised by Saving Life For Africa Diabetes Foundation, will also feature comedian Ali Baba, singer Sammy Okposo, Weird MC, Vector, Sound Sultan as well as top movie stars.
Vice President Namadi Sambo is expected to be the special guest of honour, while Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State and Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, Minister of Health, are also expected.
Dr. Jide Idris, Lagos State Commissioner for Health, will be the chief host, while Dr. Jalil Tafawa-Balewa and Dr. Bamidele Ogaga will deliver special lectures.
